At Ignition Canine, our indoor training facility was designed to give dogs and owners a calm, controlled space where learning can happen with purpose. Instead of relying on unpredictable parks, busy sidewalks, or outdoor distractions, we create an environment where your dog can focus, build confidence, and clearly understand what is being asked of them.
This space allows us to work through important skills in a more intentional way — from obedience and leash manners to impulse control, confidence building, handler engagement, and real-world behavior. Each session is structured to help your dog make steady progress while also helping you become a stronger, more confident leader.

Founder, Ignition Canine
Meet Raj Somal — one of the most well-rounded dog training professionals in the field today. With a background that spans competitive dog sports, government agency partnerships, and hands-on study with world-renowned trainers, Raj brings a rare depth of expertise to every dog and handler he works with.
Before founding Ignition Canine, Raj served as a Police Officer, working within Corrective Services, and across other government agencies — applying his dog training skills in real operational environments where precision and reliability aren’t optional, they’re essential.
Whether you’re navigating the early weeks with a new puppy, looking to strengthen the bond with your family pet, or preparing a service dog for the demands of real-world work, Raj’s approach is rooted in clarity, confidence, and a genuine understanding of how dogs think and learn.
